Customer Success story: Significant savings by improving reliability of assets at a refinery

This company has refineries all over the US and was struggling to manage its instrument calibration data to identify trends in instrument failures or incorrect sensor readings. They spent $1.7 million annually in contracts for third-party companies to calibrate instruments but still were not getting the desired accuracy due to low-quality work done by contractors. I served as a trusted advisor and created a calibration management program including software to digitize calibration tasks and results, in-house training to learn how to perform calibration tasks effectively, and utilizing Fluke and Meridium Digital calibrators to document the process value. This project lasted for 8 months and resulted in $550 thousand in savings for this company.
